I’ve been on a hair journey for quite sometime… but this shampoo has been so nourishing to my hair - I can EASILY go 5-7 days between washes without looking like a grease ball. I do lather up twice, the first I call it my pre-wash, then the second I really lather it on and split up my hair to two sides because my hair is THICK! I leave it on to nourish my scalp for probably 3-5 mins, then I rinse out and use a conditioner. If only there was a tallow conditioner, I’d be ALL OVER THAT!!! I am almost through my first bar and I don’t want to run out so I am ordering two more! I am also going to try the scalp moisturizer next too and will report back! But my curls hold better (see pic 🥹) and my hair just feels amazing! Don’t hesitate to try it out!
LOVE this shampoo bar! Normally they are too drying for me, but this one is perfect. I still use a natural conditioner after, but the shampoo bar keeps my hair clean and silky soft. Smells absolutely amazing, and holds up well! This is after many, many uses, it will definitely last a long time. Love how easy it is to lather up too, doesn't take much to get enough to do a head of long hair unlike other shampoo bars.
Best shampoo ice ever used. Clean simple ingredients, My hair feels so soft and the citrus smell is really nice. I hope in the near future they will release a conditioner bar to go with it.
I love this shampoo! A little goes a very long way with it. It smells great and it feels just right. I don’t even feel like I need conditioner! My wife will eventually convert over from the mainstream stuff I am confident of that 😃
This is honestly the best purchase I have made in 2024. Not only for me but for my family! This shampoo bar lathers so nicely and makes my hair and my girls hair feel so squeaky clean. NO need for a conditioner, I can comb through my thick hair in the shower after I rinse the soap out! I was very skeptical about that and I’m glad I was proved wrong! I just use a little leave in detangler conditioning spray after! Another bonus to this shampoo bar is that it minimizes products used and it looks so beautiful in my shower! :)

I really wanted to love this. I have only found 1 shampoo bar that makes my hair easy to brush. I don’t know what it is or if I’m doing something wrong, but I can barely run a brush through my hair after washing with this. Any suggestions? Do you use a conditioner too??
I think I like the shampoo bar. I have washed my hair with it twice now. I have hard water, yet it lathers wonderfully. My hair is dry, and while washing it feels like it's been stripped of oils; however, after it is dry, it feels soft and thick. I believe this is a keeper! It seems like it will last a long time, and the scent is very soft. If I had my way, there would be more scent to it, possibly with frankincense or ylang ylang. :)
I personally didn't care for the shampoo bar. Even after rinsing, my hair felt like it was dirty and my fingers felt covered in something. I thought it might get better after blow drying but unfortunately for me, it still felt dirty and I didn't care for the feel.

One thing that’s really helped me (and many others) when using our tallow shampoo bar is following up with an apple cider vinegar rinse. I mix equal parts raw apple cider vinegar (with the “mother”) and water in a spray bottle, spritz it on my scalp after conditioning, let it sit for a few minutes, and rinse before getting out. It helps remove any buildup and leaves hair feeling soft and refreshed.

I can tell a difference after one wash! Less oily and tender!
5 stars because this shampoo is exactly as described. It lathers really well and has a light scent that smells nice. It leaves my hair feeling just slightly oily but in a good way. This could also just be an adjustment period. I make sure to rinse thoroughly and it still looks clean. Originally, I bought this because I have minor scalp psoriasis and everything makes my head itch and causes worse flaking. This shampoo bar has helped drastically with flaking and itchiness. My hair even looks a bit fuller. I’m a fan and highly recommend if you’re uncertain.

Just received the shampoo bar and so far it as not irritated my scalp psosarsis. I do find that my scalp is not as itchy. I can't wait to share another update once I have a few weeks into using this shampoo bar.

The suds from the shampoo bar are really impressive and I’ve noticed mine and my daughter’s hair both appear to be thicker since using it! Not to mention my scalp feels amazing afterward!
This was my second time buying the shampoo bar. I like the way it makes my hair feel and cleans my hair well. I have wavy hair so I do have to add a conditioner, but I know others don’t. Well definitely buy again.
I really wanted to like this shampoo, but the bar itself crumbled into pieces after the first week so have about half a bar left now. And for some reason it leaves a stiff waxy residue on my hair I can't use it. It was packaged nicely and smelled nice though.
Hands-down the best shampoo bar I've tried! Keeps my scalp moisturized and my hair oil-free much longer than other brands I've tried. Plus it gives you a TON of suds, which I've found most natural shampoos don't. 10/10!
This is the first time I’ve used a bar shampoo and I love it!! It lathers so well, definitely wasn’t expecting that, so I was very pleasantly surprised. I also love the smell! But I think what I love the most is that I can get away with washing my hair only twice a week. I used to wash my hair every other day because it would get greasy; but not with the tallow shampoo. This shampoo is amazing!!
